"A friendly, beautiful & comfortable country town"
Buchan is a delighful country town. It has so much to offer. Friendly and welcoming towns people, stunning scenery and views from everywhere. It is quiet and peaceful, warm and inviting. There are the amaxing limestone caves, a gentle bubbling river with many safe and private swimming holes. The beautiful Australian bush highlands offer stunning walks, picnic areas, waterfalls and breathtaking scenery. The snow fields are in easy reach.
Everything you need is available in Buchan - cafe, road house including fuel, fabulous pub, accomodation, general store, bush nurse, primary school, churches, a gallery and so much more. The major towns of Bairnsdale, lakes enterance and omeo are a beautiful drive away, offering all you could possibly want and need.
