Reviews of Bulli, NSW
"Bulli is a picturesque coastal suburb"
Bulli is a picturesque coastal suburb nestled just 10.29 kilometres north of Wollongong and 58.17 kilometres of Sydney by car or train, making it a popular choice for both locals and commuters seeking a laid-back lifestyle with city access. Known for its beautiful beaches, leafy streets, and strong community vibe, Bulli offers a balanced lifestyle with natural beauty and modern convenience. The suburb is home to well-regarded schools such as Bulli High School and Waniora Public School, making it a great place for families. There are plenty of parks and open spaces including Bulli Beach Reserve and Sandon Point, which are perfect for weekend picnics, coastal walks, or simply enjoying the outdoors. The beachfront is a hub for surfers and swimmers, while dog walkers and cyclists also make the most of the coastal tracks. Bulli’s dining scene is lively, with a mix of trendy cafes, classic pubs, and casual restaurants, particularly around the beach and village precinct. With its beachside charm, good amenities, and easy connections to larger cities, Bulli continues to attract families, professionals, and retirees looking for a relaxed yet connected coastal lifestyle.

"Beach Bliss"
Bulli is a great little suburb just within reach of Sydney. Of course the beach at your door is a huge draw card but there is more. The people are friendly and the lifestyle is just a bit slower than the big city to the north making coming home a little like going on holiday. The little cafes make casual lunches on sunny days fantastic and all the big shops are just minutes away. Transport is easy with buses, trains and roads all very accessible and it's easy to excercise with the beautiful walking track that runs from Thirroul all the way to the Gong. The mix of people is broad with everyone from young families to the retired here and people from all walks of life. Our experience has been that Bulli is a very safe place to live too. I would encourage anyone to come and experience what Bulli is.

"Seaside town living"
Lovely historic town, amazing escarpment and beaches. All rapidly being marred however by over developed 'mcMansion style' homes. Close to beach , just dont look back at the overdevelopment. Locals who care have protested about what happens here but sadly the developers have been winning everytime. Beaches get overrun by Sydney Westies every Australia Day holiday so you have been warned. The train squeals at night , residents of new MacCauleys beach estate will find out that one soon enough :)
