Chippendale, NSW 2008

I’ve lived in Chippendale for about 18 months now (near the Central Park complex), and it’s honestly one of the most convenient places I’ve ever lived in Sydney.

The Good:
The location is unbeatable. I walk to work in the CBD in 15 minutes, and having Central Station right there means I can get anywhere. The food scene is insane❤️😎 . Spice Alley is basically my second kitchen, and there are so many hidden cafes and small bars around Kensington Street. I also love the vibe; it feels very mix of old industrial brick and modern green architecture. White Rabbit Gallery is a cool spot to take visitors.

Perfect for young professionals, students at UTS/Sydney Uni, or couples who want to be in the thick of it.

Pocket suburb at the edges of Sydney's CBD. Lots to do, see, experience here. Always changing. Very happy family of 3 and 2 pets living here the last 3 years.

Chippendale is the best inner city suburb ! Have a coolest neighbourhood, our unit apartment nearby the best coffee shop ever. It’s a low key but safe.
Easy Commuting, Central Station is within walking distance, making it easy to commute to other parts of Sydney.

Lived here from 2000 to 2022 and returned recently from London. Even better than before with new restaurants and bars everywhere. Hope it continues to be ♥️♥️♥️

Newbie here, but so far so excellent...

Everything you need is walking distance - cafes, restaurants, bars, theaters, bookshops, parks, supermarkets, shopping, GPs, hospital, day cares, primary and high schools, universities. Easy access to Surry Hills, Newtown, Redfern and city. Buses, trains and trams to connect you to everything else. A lovely, lively and safe place to live in the middle of everything Sydney has to offer. Great area to raise a family

but i haven't found a good cup of coffee yet, can someone please point me in the right direction.

A few years since we moved here and love it still. Lots to do within walking distance, no need for a vehicle or even public transport. Someone had a question about crime on Facebook = we have not had a sinle bad experience in 4 years. Love the people 20-60 year old the norm, and the many shopping areas is superb.

I'm in a 2 bed + 2 bath + 1 parking. Amazing view from up high, and the real perks are beautiful pool, spa and well-fitted-out gym. Feels like living in a resort and I get to walk my dogs in a well-manicured park and streets.

Cool buildings and people. Love love love.
