Coorparoo, QLD 4151

I grew up in Coorparoo and after living overseas and elsewhere in Queensland have chosen to settle back into Coorparoo. Cooparoo is so convenient to the City (circa 5kms) with access to bus and rail pretty easy. I love the dining precincts on Cav Rd, the Junction and in nearby Martha street as well as the abundance of great parks. Coorparo also has some great schools (Villanova, Loreto, Churchie and Mt Carmel etc). The people are friendly and it still has a great community feel due to the suburby having a great mix of longterm and newer residents.

I cannot believe how lucky I got finding Coorparoo. Located in the best region of Brisbane for schools, hospitals and centrality, the lifestyle is unrivalled. Surrounded by other gorgeous suburbs like Camp Hill, Salisbury, Tarragindi and Holland Park West. You are in the company of the kindest Brisbanites communities. So proud to live here

Coorparoo is a very convenient suburb, with hundreds or cafes/restaurants, plenty of quality neighbourhood shopping centres, beautiful houses, more parks than any other suburb and only 4KM from the CBD. You can get to the city from Coorparoo in as little as 10-15minutes via train or bus. Highly recommended. Great family suburb.

I moved to Coorparoo almost 4 years ago. Before living here I never felt 'at home' in my suburb, or part of the community. Coorparoo is safe, welcoming, filled with mostly families or working adults. Everything is super close and accessible and the homes are beautiful.

Coorparoo is an all round great suburb to live in. Close to the city but far enough out that traffic isn’t a nightmare. Lots of beautiful parks and walkways. Amazing cafes and restaurants. Coorparoo Square has everything you need

I go to a high school and this is the best place for kids, parents and everyone it has big beautiful park , shops are close

We just moved to Coorparoo six months ago and we don't understand why we haven't moved here sooner. It is a beautiful suburb of Brisbane with magnificent views to the City and lovely parks and meandering streets, perfect to keep oneself in shape. We just opened the TINY TREE CAFE on Cavendish Road and the support of the local neighborhood is fantastic. Tiny Tree Cafe is essentially an old-fashioned European-style Cafe House offering customers well brewed aromatic coffee and tea, nostalgic cakes and cookies, rarely found in today's one size fits all FastFoodCake menus. Beyond our culinary wonders we have a bit of Modern Art and exquisite, rarely seen European Antiques and the peaceful Serenity of Bonsai in our little Tea Garden. Tiny Tree Cafe is here to give customers an experience of Beauty & Taste. We hope the people of Coorparoo enjoy our little input in the local economy. We love Coorparoo!

Coorparoo is a fantastic place with an abundance of lifestyle opportunities. The recent development in Coorparoo junction has transformed the area into one of the best inner city restaurant/shopping/entertainment precincts that has taken over from Bulimba for the premier inner city area in the south/east side of town. Coorparoo has a wide variety of housing options- from new and older units in the junction area through to streets of well renovated traditional Queenslander style houses and art deco and Californian bungalow. My pick of areas in Coorparoo would be on the ridge lines of the heights- from Pelham street through to Buena Vista- green with amazing city views- great public transport and close to exclusive private as well as very good public schools.

I lived in Coorparoo for two years, around the Burke Street area, it was sad to have left but my experience there was rather good. Nice neighbourhood, not far from Woolworths, Pizza hut is right down the road (I lived behind it, so it was great just walking over and buying it. There were some robberies during 2016 of stores like the Cheesecake shop or Pizza Hut, but overall, Coorparoo is a very lovely place to live in, it feels safe to be walking around at night.

Been living in Coorparoo for the last 10years. In my opinion this suburb has the best offering of cafes, shopping, public transport, schools and family lifestyle than any other inner south Brisbane suburb. Everything is within walking distance or at worse a very short drive. I may very happily retire here :)
