"Corrimal is a thriving northern suburb"

Corrimal is a thriving northern suburb of Wollongong, located just 4.56kilometres from the city centre and 63.81to Sydney by car, making it ideal for both local professionals and commuters. Known for its mix of coastal charm and urban convenience, Corrimal offers a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere with a wide range of amenities. The suburb is home to several well-regarded schools, including Corrimal High School and Corrimal Public School, providing solid educational options for families. There are also a number of childcare centres and preschools, making it an easy suburb to settle into with young children. Corrimal is surrounded by beautiful green spaces such as Phil Adams Park, Towradgi Creek, and the Corrimal Memorial Park, and is only a few minutes' drive to the beach, giving locals plenty of outdoor lifestyle opportunities. Corrimal’s commercial hub features a large shopping precinct with supermarkets, specialty stores, and services, while its dining scene includes a mix of cosy cafes, takeaways, and casual restaurants. With its excellent transport links, strong sense of community, good schools, and proximity to both the beach and the city, Corrimal remains a highly sought-after suburb for families, retirees, and first-home buyers alike.

"Conveniet, quiet and cheap"

I've been here three years in a block of flats with incredibly friendly (mostly elderly) neighbours - I'm in my twenties. The shops are terribly convenient, there is some good variety of food, and some particularly excellent Thai, Bistro and Indian food. Friday nights are great at the Palm Court Hotel. There are some great places around here, very green and pretty.
