"Beautiful suburb, lots of wildlife"
Recently moved to Edgewater from Como- we LOVE it here, lots of birds and roos, beautiful walks and parks, 7 mins from the beach, no traffic and so far everyone we've run into has been very friendly. Still an easy trip into Perth for work.

"Parks, Kangaroos and No Thoroughfare Traffic"
I have lived in Edgewater since 2018 and it was almost by chance I bought here. Made an offer on a home in a coastal suburb, the agent came back with a counter offer and we decided not only was that home not for us, but we would expand our search of suburbs. We included Edgewater and within 24 hours we had a home under offer.
A peaceful, quiet and family friendly suburb full of parks and of course Lake Yellagonga, but still only a short drive to beaches, major shopping centres and good schools.
So glad the offer we made on the other home wasn't accepted.

"An undiscovered gem!"
Chances are, that if you don't currently live in Edgewater or know anyone who does than you probably don't know all that much about this amazing suburb!
Located on the western side of Lake Joondalup, Edgewater benefits from fantastic walking and cycling tracks, as well as a large number of parks and playgrounds. Nature lovers love living here - there are always birds chirping, Swans down at Picnic Cove, and Kangaroos along Edgewater Drive. It is a very peaceful suburb, with no through-roads, meaning there is very little road noise throughout most of the suburb.
We've got a small shopping centre within the suburb, and plenty of shopping options only a short drive away at the Joondalup shopping precinct. We also benefit from having a dedicated train station, easy freeway access and medical facilities close by.
Edgewater is a lovely place to live! I know many of the residents don't want to leave and when they look to move, it's usually within the suburb.

"Quiet, safe with a cozy, homely vibe !"
I never lived this far north till I moved to edgewater and don’t ever wanna
leave!! Super safe, quiet suburb with a great community feel. You always see either kids walking to and from school, families playing sport at emerald, or people walking dogs. So much greenery, and nature. Close to joondalup where there is everything you need, and also right near the freeway / train line so easy to get anywhere! It’s just a great place to live.

"Edgewater"
Has its own train station with trains to city taking 20minutes. The drive only takes 30 minutes (only 22km). Great primary school and out of hours school care. Mater Dei college for high school and ECU Joondalup for university. It is so close to Joondalup (south border) and has everything you need within a 2 minute drive, except the best beach in Perth - Mullaloo which is a 5 minute drive. Leafy green and established with a beautiful walk/cycle path around lake Joondalup and because of the lake there is so many birds. By far the best place to bring up a family in Perth.

"Established suburb making a comeback!!"
A matured leafy suburb with beautiful undulating topography next to a nature reserve with numerous species of fauna and home to a vast variety of local animal species. The hilltops homes provide beautiful distant views of the city and ocean. The area is located strategically between the Mitchell free-way and Wanneroo Road and a stone throw from Edgewater train station. Few minutes drive to some of the best beaches in WA and up and coming world class marina complimented by the family favourite - Hillary's!!
Edgewater has all the ingredients for good growth as it is next to Joondalup the second hub after the city of Perth. With a expanding hospital, a world class university, quality schools and colleges coupled with shopping centres and good eatery's, Edgewater is poised to be rediscovered .
