"Beauty, location & community"
Stunning historical river fronting town, 5 minutes to good shopping in Huonville, 30 more to Hobart. The ideal combination of peace and access to a bigger city. Yes it’s cool in winter as is Tasmania. Great and welcoming community with many activities if you like so inclined. Join a rowing group, singing, movie nights… it’s a special place.
car, buses are available, so you have to time trips. Hobart is only 35 mins drive or an hour by bus. Its a beautiful town and Ive found the people to be be very open and friendly. Lots to do, womens boat groups, singing, movie nights etc. and an exceptional community. Yes its cold in winter and same as much of Tassie, so it isnt Queensland. Some people prefer the cold. Hope you found a good place to live.
