Reviews of Greenacre, NSW
"Amazing suburb!"
Greenacre is a very close-knit community with loads of facilities that are convenient for individuals and families. There are lots of places to go for general enjoyment, whether it be our luscious, green parks or high-tier restaurants. Whatever you need, Greenacre has it. The people and neighbours here are all very kind and welcoming, and we accepts a large variety of cultures and ethnicities. It is a lovely community for families looking to settle.
By the people, for the people.

"Great, convenient area"
I have lived here my whole life with my family and we have never had any trouble here. We feel very safe and our neighbours are all lovely. It is conveniently located near M5 and M4 motorways as well as other highways. Many bus routes, unfortunately no train station in the area. Situated within 30min of Sydney CBD and very central to everything.

"Noisy neighbour's"
Council refused to fix my driveway even though they are the ones that damaged it during major ground works they were undertaking. Neighbour's keep on blasting loud music and constant screaming. Roads are too busy from surrounding schools and shops and large noise pollution. Im not sure why but there has been a large police presence over the last few months. Not sure whats happening but does not give good vibes.
"Safety is a issue"
As much as i would love to talk well of my suburb certain issues have been too much. Streets are not maintained by locals or council. Roads are a race track. Youth neglect parks and have been overwhelmed with crime and drugs. Wish it had the same vibe it did 20 years ago but i guess everyone is lacking motivation. Hope to see it move forward

"Good community but too much dramas"
Greenacre once was a quiet suburb filled with small families and happy residents, however in recent times Greenacre has gained unnecessary attention through constant trouble with authority with the youth, dramas with so called gangs and drugs and so on. Although some might not recognise it, it really hits a toll on parents when theyre children describe the things they experience at school and on the streets.
"Great place to live"
We removed here from Melbourne over a year ago and bought a house when the market was low. 30 minutes driving from the city/darling harbour without toll. Everything is here, medical centres, close to M4 and M5, train near by, bus service everywhere, parks, hospital 10minutes close by, churches, schools, childcares, shopping of all kind. Homes and streets are older looking than Melbourne, granted it is an older city, but new homes and duplexes are refreshing the look. Really happy we bought here before the market started to rise.
A lot of young people here who at night time can drive nuts with their Mercedes or done up holdens. Have not seen any crimes of drugs like some people have mentioned, but I’m sure there is, it is everywhere can’t escape it but so far nothing. Overall lovey people so far of all nationalities and religion.

You disagree that greenacre is a major drug and crime hub in sydney? I have lived there and it is not a safe place to live.
People here will always defend their neighbourhood regardless of facts. 'A hidden gem', 'this suburb is no different to any other suburb in Sydney', 'People look out for each other here' are some dead giveaways. Suburbs that are safer and better off would be labelled as snooty. I live in Newport, a suburb that for some is both snooty and full of Centrelink recipients asking for a dollar at the bus stop. I do find alot of reviews here sincere and helpful though.
