Reviews of Gymea Bay, NSW
"A beautiful part of the world"
Gymea Bay has it all. A great place for families, close to the Gymea village and trains into the city, a short drive to Miranda Westfield, 10 mins away from the great beaches of Cronulla and a stones throw away from the amazing Royal National Park and Port Hacking River. Plus its a place where people still say hello.

"Too many units and townhouses"
This used to be a nice area but unfortunately the area is being over developed.
Shops are nice and has some lovely cafes
"GYMEA BAY"
A lovely suburb that's close to schools, shops and train station. Have a coffee shop down the road that everybody knows you and you can meet plenty of locals. Nice place for walks. Has a Baths that you can swim in. Nice parks for the kids to play in.

"I want to grow old in Gymea Bay"
I love Gymea Bay, i'll be sad the day that we have to leave the area. I have not had any trouble or bad experience since i moved into the area (Break-ins or car theft). My neighbours are lovely and very friendly.
To drive to Cronulla beach it only takes 15 mins and Miranda Westfield is only 2.5km away. The only downside is that we want to buy in the area and its out of our reach. But if you are lucky enough to afford the prices, dont look past Gymea Bay.

"Very quiet neighborhood, yet very close to all that Gymea and Miranda & Cronulla have to offer."
Gymea Bay is a picturesque, quiet leafy suburb. Most of the houses in the area are blessed with views of either the Port Hacking River, the Royal National Park, the beautiful distant Sydney city scape or all three. Many of the houses even have direct water access. As the name suggests it is set on the bay side of President Avenue (one of the main thoroughfare roads through the Sutherland Shire) meaning there is no reason for thoroughfare traffic of any kind. Most streets are only a causal flat stroll to the ever popular Gymea Bay rd shops and cafe precinct, and if thats not enough Miranda fair is only a 3 min drive away. For those that don't waterfronts Gymea Bay baths are also walking distance to many of the streets, and the ever beautiful Cronulla beach is only a 10 min drive away.
