Reviews of Hocking, WA
"Where's Hocking?"
Hocking is a suburb located 20 Minutes North of the City, within the City of Wanneroo. If you like peace and tranquility come here, most houses average around 10 Years old so feels new and clean with plenty of parks. Very family friendly. People acknowledge each other, feels nice to get a smile and a hi. Only 10min drive to Whitfords train station, 15min to Joondalup shopping centre & 15min to Mullaloo Beach.

"A lovely suburb- great neighbourhood and facilities"
We've lived in a lovely Hocking street for the past 4 years. We're an older couple and we love to listen to the children playing outside of an evening with their young children.
It's extremely well serviced, with two neighbourhood shopping centres, Wanneroo Central only 3 kms away and Joondalup a 10 min drive.
There is a government primary school, Catholic primary school, medical centre, vet and a new recreation centre being built as I write.
Good freeway access and ocean views from our front yard top off this review.

"Friendly neighbours, quiet, safe and well maintained"
Very good suburb to live and invest in.
We live in Mount Lawley, but we had done a few look around North and south to invest in a property to built our future home. When compared to surrounding suburbs such as Madeley, wanneroo, Woodvale, Tapping .... Hockings will be a right choice.
Access to the highways
Near to Waneroo market, but away from its negative side.
15 minute drive to Joondalup Hospital, Edith Cowen university, Joondalup shopping centres, 20 minute drive to Perth City. Good School, upcoming shopping centre, 1 kms to BP station, Prime stores etc... etc...
After all its a better investment.

"Great Area"
I have built a home and lived in new area of Hocking (Belvedere Heights) since 2005. New section going up fast two streets away. A mixture of mostly homeowners with no, young kids and teenagers.
Great area, feel safe when home alone and people are friendly.
Hate to leave but I am selling soon, house too big for us now, hoping to sell with a decent profit.
