Reviews of Hovea, WA

"Surrounded by natural bushland!"

Hovea is in the Shire of Mundaring and is bound on all three sides by some form of natural bushland or heritage features, such as Heritage Railways. On one side is Glen Forest and another has the natural environment of John Forest NP on the western boundary. Most of the land in the area is mid priced acreages that provide residents with a lifestyle choice. It was originally called Park View in 1912, but due to confusion with the names of Bellevue and Swan View, the name was changed to Hovea. Hovea was chosen after a small purple native flower in the area of the same name. The population is around 650 people and the nearest shopping area is Midland and schools are in Midland and nearby Mundaring.

Great for

  • A delightful bush environment.
