Reviews of Japoonvale, QLD
"Seachangers and Farming Community - with many opportunities"
Japoonvale is well known for its farming of sugar cane, pawpaws, red papayas, bananas and organic vegetables and fruits.
Japoonvale is the home of Australia's first commercial bottled rainwater.
Japoonvale has the most honest of residents from numerous places that I have resided in. It is a safe and friendly place to live and the people are always willing to offer a helping hand (or many) if requested.
Schools, ambulance and police are within easy access - 10 to 30 minutes. School buses service Warrakin Road.
The area boasts the beautiful Liverpool Creek and tributories, catering to many water enthusiasts and farms.
Japoonvale is close to Mission Beach, Kurrimine Beach, Innisfail and Tully. The coast offers direct access to the Great Barrier Reef and close off-shore Islands like Dunk Island.
Having lived here since 1995, this area gives such a rewarding atmosphere, forever green, clean air and always an abundance of fresh rainwater - with no water restrictions. I thoroughly recommend this area for any prospective Seachanger or individual who seeks a tropical lifestyle.
