Reviews of Kewdale, WA
"Kewdale"
Kewdale is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia within the City of Belmont, Kew Street was one of the first roads in this district, hence the naming of the suburb. Containing a hidden gem, Tomato Lake offers everything – heaps of grass for picnics, BBQ’s, play ground equipment, gym equipment, basketball square, two walking/running/riding tracks, and a café. Often there are City of Belmont events at Tomato Lake
"Great suburb to live"
A great suburb to live. So close to Perth City with very quiet, safe streets
Lovely well maintained parks and many new houses being built. Close to the Swan river too!!
Excellent shopping at Belmont forum and cinemas nearby and a developing cafe/restaurant area.

"Plenty of parks and close to facilities"
good mix of people - young, old, professionals, families, Aussie and new to Oz. Good size blocks when buying older homes. Some lovely new homes already built and more coming although smaller land size for the new places. Plenty of facilites at Belmont forum (movies, restaurants and shopping). Convenient Highway access (Leach, Roe, Tonkin). Close to airport. Well maintained parks with kids play equipment. I have been amazed how regularly the council maintain the park near my house. It wasn't very often in East Vic Park. Lots of locals go for early morning and late evening walks so I'm guessing it is a safe area. I have been here 6 months. Had swapped phone numbers and names with the neighbours within a few weeks. Do miss the convenience of a late night deli/shop and would like more cafes. Close to Curtin Uni also (10 min drive) but the buses to Curtin could be improved.
Great for
- Tomato Lake (great place to get some exercise)
- Close to shops and amenities
Not great for
- We need a late night or 24 hour deli

Mate, you should stop posting comments..... You are not giving a reliable answer cause you do not even live in this suburb. You are just a real estate agent who are selling houses in this area..... We tend to know the real image of this area.....
