As a homeowner who moved here a few years ago, I couldn't be happier with my decision to settle in Lalor Park. Property prices are booming, giving me confidence in my investment.

I’m a local agent and have sold in the area for 20 years, the prices here are much cheaper than surrounding suburbs and allow first home buyers to get into the market. Lots of good school and local park and only minutes drive to M2, M7 motorways and easy access to Blacktown Westpoint, Castle Hills, Bella Vsita and Parramatta.

Lalor Park is a wonderful suburb in Western Sydney. It's perfectly located, just a 16-minute drive to Macquarie Park via the M2 and only 25 minutes to Darling Harbour, making it easy to enjoy both suburban peace and city convenience.

Additionally, it's just 5-10 minutes to neighboring areas like Norwest, Bella Vista, and Kings Langley.

The community here has changed significantly in the last 10 years, becoming more secure and welcoming, which is so important for families. The parks, schools, and local amenities are all well-maintained and family-friendly.

Property prices have seen a recent rise due to the safe environment and growing demand. The shorter travel time to the city compared to areas like Kellyville, Marsden Park, and Box Hill adds to the appeal.

Lalor Park is a safe and good suburb, it is really a great area to live in everyone is friendly, offer parks, amenities, local schools, and you can take the kids and walk around the area and not have to worry about your safety.

I have been living in Lalor Park for over 20 years. I work in North Sydney and driving over 60 km daily. The reason to stay in here is because it is the most affordable house price in Sydney. The public transport is quiet good as well. You can get bus and train. The Lalor Park local shopping is quiet convenience.

The Seven Hills and Blacktown Westpoints shopping center are only with few kms from my local.

The twin gum park is not too far from my place and you can have a nice walking or cycling exercise.

We bought our house in July2019 and we love living here. We got a 590m2 block for a reasonable price for Sydney.

We feel lucky with our close we are to so many amenities:
-3km from blacktown hospital, west point shopping centre, blacktown and seven hills train station
-5-10 min walk from two primary schools, ovals, dog park, a gym, pub and some Local restaurants.

All our neighbours are friendly and feel a real sense of community living here.

My wife has lived in Lalor Park for over two decades and we bought our first house in the area 12 Years ago because of proximity to work and her family.
We now have two kids and they both spent their toddler years in Lalor Park, we lived in a modest 3 bedroom home with one bathroom and eventually we felt we needed a bigger house so we moved away. We couldn’t bring ourselves to selling the house so we rented it out but now we’re ready to build our forever home and there’s simply no better value suburb in the area when you consider lot sizes compared to Kellyville, Glenwood and Bella Vista. We knew of the suburb’s potential and I think others have started to realise it too. There are lot of knockdown rebuilds for young families and I think the trend will just continue to grow. Our other option to build was in Box Hill which is 17km away from Lalor Park, that’s an extra 170km drive a week for me. Driving along Old Windsor Rd in peak traffic is literally HELL, for the sake of sanity our place in Lalor Park is 5 minute drive from the M2 entry/exit. Kings Langley is a great neighbouring suburb with lots of long established homes and families, parks and reserves for children to play on and access to the M7 cycleway that stretches 38km from the Norwest end to Prestons.

I hope Lalor Park remains the friendly, leafy and quiet place that we have come to know because we’ll be continuing to raise our children there...

Could not have picked a better value location in Sydney.

I've lived in Northbridge, Crows Nest, Balmain, Concord West to Westmead and they all have redeemable suburb qualities. I would readily return to each suburb because they all have an aspect that I enjoy - my 'home' a.k.a family.

Yes, Lalor Park is in Sydney's West (an area that has been unfairly deemed as uncultured, uneducated and undervalued). And yes, there are pockets of homes that are owned by the Department of Housing (shockingly enough, people require housing support all across Sydney from North Shore, South, East, West and Inner West) .

Lalor Park is quiet, spacious and is littered with trees. There are families that have been established in the community and have a sense of care to their homes. People watch out for their neighbours homes and hold genuine values.

Whilst the gentrification of suburbs is considered as making them 'worthy' in Sydney, it is the diversity of backgrounds and experience that actual brings value to a suburb. Does a suburb with greater median income mean increased importance or heart in it's people?

Lalor Park is a 'wait and see' suburb, much of which Balmain was 40 years ago.
