"Family Friendly, Green, and close to city - a great place to live"
Best suburb I've lived in Sydney. Green, surrounded by national parks, great walks, parks, family friendly. Beautiful apartments, low density nestled in with the trees. Close to everything if you need to work to the city; or shop in Chatswood, Macquarie, or CBD. Good schools. Safe neighbourhood.

"Hyper convenient family living"
Just steps away from Chatswood, a cuisine rich and shopping oriented environment and a stone's throw from Artarmon where the education sector performs extraordinarily well with the OC stream. Recommended for families working to live at a medium budget (the north shore is not non-exorbitant; I won't say the price tags don't exist). Less crowded environment than Lane Cove or Chatswood though and definitely some superb green space and safety's not a concern
"Nice suburb"
Living in Lane Cove North is nice as it is in walking distance to Lane Cove shops as well as Chatswood. Convenient to everything. There are lots of bushland areas so lots of bushwalks. Recently there has been so much unit development on Mowbray Rd as well as Centennial Ave and it seems to be a trend in this area. At the moment, there are 4 unit developments being built at the same time in this area. This means more traffic to the area and lots of construction noise, traffic diversions. Really nice new library at Mowbray Rd - Chatswood West Library run by Willoughby council. Has so many new, good books and DVD's. Public transport to this area is average. Last bus from Chatswood at 9.15pm; 7 and 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Great to get the bus from Centennial Ave/Epping Rd and only 12 minutes into the city.
