Leederville, WA 6007

We can't wait to sell up and leave. The area it not exactly what it appears from the outside. Although it took many years of living here to discover just what was going on. To be honest we enjoyed it due to location until the ugly side revealed itself. We had a methamphetamine lab set up next to us and experienced what could be described as a year of hell resulting from that . Long story , but sadly drug manufacture is widespread in the area(not drug addicts, these can indeed present very respectable) although generally quiet about it , it may not be exactly the sort of neighbours desired, if not involved oneself.

Nothing more to say than its overpriced. Yes you are in the city but are you willing to pay the price tag for being closed in on small blocks?

Leederville has everything I look for in a suburb - heritage homes and established gardens, excellent community spirit, safe neighbourhood, and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, and schools. There are excellent public transport links and the people who live here are very diverse - singles, families, couples, and retirees. The council is responsive to the community and the public schools in the area are brilliant. This really is a fun, bustling inner-city suburb that caters for all ages. The only negative I can think of is that it is a bit too far from the beach!

Leederville is just about the only place in Perth you can be close to everything you need. Not only is it 5min from the city, any area is just around the corner with freeway and public transport access (train and Bus) just around the corner.
If you like having close access to urban activity, in Leederville something is always happening.
