Reviews of Marayong, NSW
"Great place to live"
I moved here a few months ago and can say this is a beautiful little suburb. Very multicultural, safe and friendly. We know most of our neighbours and will often pass residents on our walks who smile and hi. This is a great suburb for raising a family and is very well connected for shops, schools and public transport.

"Friendly neighborhood"
We moved to a quiet culdesac about 7 years ago. We have met all our neighbors in our street and have great relationships with them. It's comforting to know we belong to such a supportive community of Multicultural yet like minded people.
Our children attend the same schools and sporting programs.
Marayong is is a nice quiet leafy suburb but is close to fantastic facilities such as the zoo, Featherdale, state of the art parks, raging waters, just to name a few! Yarramundi river is only a 25 min drive for a family friendly swim. Shopping centre is just down the road and train station is within walking distance if you commute to the city. Definitely found our forever home in this suburb.

"Friendly neighborhood"
So many people we meet ask "Marayong, where is that". This to me is one of the beauties of the suburb. As a father of three, the suburb gives me everything I could ask for - school options, parks, accessibility, great people around us, a great church community, improved shopping facilities, ever improving transport for commuters. The bush land areas surrounding us are great also, with a heap of sporting facilities here or very close by.

"Close to all amenities and friendly neighborhoods"
Close to stations, plenty of buses, close to IKEA Costco Shopping center , not over crowded, great traffic and good neighborhood. I moved from Castle hill, reckon its hidden pocket so much better than Castle hill.

"Nice little suburb that not many people know about"
Moved here 4 years ago - good people live in here. No crime in the past 4 years and generally pretty clean. It has a little station and Marayong Heights is a bit better.

"Love living in Marayong!"
Friendly neighbours, peaceful and serene, safe & sound, 5min drive to Westpoint Blacktown and 1minute drive to local Quakers Court for Woolies shopping plus a train station - what more do you need? The local news and housing commission have made this suburb less attractive than others but it is truly a hidden gem. With the price of a 3-bedroom house that comes with a sizable plot of land beats the price of a one-bedroom unit in so many suburbs (e.g Hornsby with pretty much the same commuting time to City), I'd say you'd be crazy to look pass this suburb.

"Friendly suburb located in the heart of the west"
Have lived in Marayong now for 10 years and am happy to recommend the suburb as a family friendly neighbourhood. Marayong is close to major shopping centres and train lines. Public transport is excellent. Marayong is somewhere where you will feel safe letting the kids out to play.
