"Keep a small town small"
Great place until the recent influx of unregistered motorcross bikes who terrorise residents.
Useless council who is more interested in lining their pockets.
Otherwise a pretty decent burb but will probably start going downhill due to the above issues getting bigger and worse.
Great for
- Has the tranquility of rural but major shopping malls are only 20 minutes away.
Not great for
- Local council could be better but that's just a matter of time before they get knocked in to shape.

"Why live anywhere else?"
Moving from interstate we spent months looking for the perfect place to settle. We must have researched every suburb within travelling distance to Melbourne. We stumbled across Mount Macedon and found it to be thee place to lay our roots. Next move from here will be the nursing home.
Great for
- Easy access to the city for work.
- Has the tranquility of rural but major shopping malls are only 20 minutes away.
- After only a couple of years we feel part of the community - people are so friendly.
Not great for
- Used to be town water and gas connection but that's connected now so cant grumble.
- Local council could be better but that's just a matter of time before they get knocked in to shape.

"Graet Place to live or Retire"
Piece of heaven for those who wish to retire. Very quiet. Friendly people that stick together and love to help out one another
