Reviews of Nelson, VIC
"Fishing, fishing and more fishing"
If you love fishing, Nelson is the perfect place to visit. Located on the Glenelg River, the small town is a popular haunt for fishermen year round. If fishing is not your thing, the town's pub is also pretty popular for its welcoming atmosphere. Nelson is also close to a number of wineries, shopping in Mount Gambier and Portland or dining on fresh seafood at Port MacDonnell. While I'm not a fan of fishing, I have to say this town was a great place to get away to. You will return home feeling relaxed and refreshed. It's also a great place to go with a group of friends.
