"Small town with a big heart"
You'd be hard pressed to find more friendly locals anywhere else. Drop into the pub for a bite to eat and a beer and you're sure to encounter at least a handful of friendly locals. The town is well known for its swimming hole with a diving board, which is very popular in summer. It's also a short drive from the Cudgee Wildlife Park which has a range of animals from koalas and monkeys to potoroos. Panmure is a short drive from Warrnambool and all of its attractions. The town has a general store and a primary school. If you're driving past, I would highly recommend dropping into the pub.
