Reviews of Parklea, NSW
"Super quiet and safe"
I moved here since 07/2020 I am able to sleep well every night. Neighbors are friendly but not over-friendly and everyone cares about their house (lawn-care, no dumping...). Very happy with the moving decision.

"Decent suburb, but transport links could be better"
Parklea is a decent suburb, however found transport links can be quite limited. Closes station is Bella Vista. Access to M7 and A2 can be tricky depending on where you live.

"Wonderful suburb"
Close to all facilities. 7 mins driving to Kellyville metro, 8 min to bella Vista metro, and 6 min to quakers hill station. My place is 2mins walking distance to t-way bus . Very classy neighborhood, nice and quite streets , big reserve park. The houses are around 10-15 years old. It is very safe and comfortable suburb
The negative: parklea suburb is attached to the name of the Parklea correction center.
Other than that, I consider it the best suburb as it close to every thing and the same time quit and comfortable residential area

"Family Friendly"
Parklea is a older suburb compared with surrounding areas like Glenwood and Stanhope Gardens and as such prices are generally a but cheaper however Parklea has areas with houses only five years old etc. Great nearby facilities and a great family atmosphere make this place a pleasure to live.

"Parklea - The Invisible Suburb."
To many people the word Parklea is associated with the Parklea Markets which is in Glenwood by the way. Many others assume that the area of Parklea is in Stanhope Gardens or Quakers Hill. So it is quite difficult to inform the confused people including my friends.
The suburb of Parklea is next to Stanhope Gardens, Quakers Hill and Acacia Gardens. Parklea has a Reserve/Playground as well as two Child Care Centres as far as I know. In addition to that a Shopping Centre, Leisure Centre and Library which are in Stanhope Gardens is nearby. A couple of Playgrounds in Quakers Hill are also easily accessible. Many people send their children to a Primary School in Acacia Gardens. Bus services to Blacktown Station and even Sydney are regular. Quakers Hill Railway Station is roughly four kilometres away.
Overall Parklea is a great place to live minus the Railway Station.
