Reviews of Riverview, NSW
"A beautiful place to live"
We couldnt speak highly enough of Riverview! A true gem of a place to live. A walk to the water, parks and bushwalks. For kids its is the ideal childhood riding bikes and exploring. All within 15 mins of the city and walking access to restaurants in lane cove. Its an affluent area and can be expensive but offers big stately family homes. A really lovely community.

"Nice area to live"
Riverview has always been a lovely suburb, near the city and close to buses. However, in the past couple of years many famiies have moved from the Eastern Suburbs as it is close to the Riverview College - which is the most prestigious catholic school in Sydney. If religion is important to them, this is where they send their sons so they buy nearby real estate! Some are rather snobby and are always dressed in designer-head-to-toe, however I imagine snobbery would be much worse in the East. Really convenient location and close to shops.

"Child friendly, leafy suburb close to the city"
Riverview is a hidden gem close to the city and surrounded on three sides by water, with a friendly feel. Whenever I get a taxi home. The comment always is this is a really nice place to live, lovely houses, so quiet, I bet the kids love it here (and they do) and I wish ii could live here. Riverview has been my familys home now for seven years and after moving from England it delivers the Aussie dream.

"College On The Point"
St Ignatius College, Riverview would no doubt be the dominant landmark in this suburb which is adjacent to Lane Cove. The college and its magnificent grounds dominate the peninsular. Homes in the area are substantial, on large blocks of land, and bear a hefty price tag. Public transport access to Lane Cove and the City beyond is by bus.
