Reviews of South Maclean, QLD
"Great Peaceful Ffamily Location"
Moved in 12 months ago from Sydney. It is a great change, the area is quiet and friendly, with shops less then a 5 minute drive away (which is not any worse then Sydney's western suburbs with traffic). Schools are well setup and my daughter likes it a lot more then Sydney's packed schools. The area is developing very fast with new roads and shops being built on a regular basis. The only downfall is no public transport and terrible internet access, even though we are supposed to get NBN in the next 12 months.

"Great Acreage Lifestyle"
South Maclean is located south of North Maclean funnily enough. The feel of both these suburbs is very homogenous and they share a lot of similarities. It is a great place for people looking for a bit of a change of lifestyle into acreage living. Relatively close to both Browns Plains and Jimboomba town centres this is a leafy and quiet suburb that neighbours the Logan River. There's plenty of acitvity in the area with the highway upgrades that are very much a constant now and the continued growth of the commercial side of Jimboomba. Definitely worth a look for any acreage lovers out there.
