I've lived here for just over 4 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed the community spirit and accessibility to amenities. Having lived close to the city all my life, this place offers a great mix of tranquility and liveability withour sacrificing the luxuries of life. Open green spaces, walking and cycling paths which are well lit and people use these at all times of day and night. Shops, train station within 5 minutes. 35minutes to the CBD by train, all the major outlets within 10minutes by car, some fantastic resturants and fast food outlets. Locals are friendly, hard working and appear focused on getting ahead in life. Heaps of infrastructure being established including, but certainly not limited to, a billion dollar hospital within 5minutes. Strathtulloh is growing rapidly and there's a LOT of movement here with trades, works and new arrivals. Council have invested in managing the green spaces and do a great job. I'm so glad I decided to move here, I was looking all over Melbourne and stumbled across this suburb when I found a house I really liked. My kids have heaps of options for recreation including a huge indoor stadium, athletics track, several soccer, football and cricket options, basketball courts are common at he local parks. They're spoiled for choice! Local Indian resturant Tikki Twist has the best Tandoori I've ever had, there are several quality resturants within 5-10 minutes. I'll be staying here because it feels like a LOT has been invested into growing this suburb. Give it 5 years and this may be a highly sought-after suburb, I already prefer it over everywhere else I've lived and it's only getting better. Strathtulloh suits a solid citizen with good family values and strong educational background, this suburb is built on that model.
