Reviews of Sunnybank Hills, QLD
"Perfect"
This suburb is on fire. Lots of great development happening in this area of Brisbane. The primary school is #1 in the entire state. Which is an incredible honour. Great folk reside here! Get in if you can. Algester/Calamvale/Mansfield and Sunnybank Hills all great areas

Stay off the main roads which carry HUGE volumes of traffic. E.g. Mains, Compton and Gowan Rd's.
Just avoid central roads for road noise and traffic. Sunnybank hills is an excellent suburb- welcome home!
"Convenient suburb"
I lived here for a short time and really liked it. It's a super convenient suburb, close to everything you need and very family friendly. I felt very safe living in Sunnybank Hills. The only downside to living here was the traffic and lack of English spoken by restaurant and convenience store staff. The suburb seems to be predominantly Chinese and so Mandarin is widely spoken at shops in Sunnybank and it can be difficult to communicate. On the positive side, there are some excellent Asian food options and Market Square is 5 min away. The traffic can get really bad in the mornings and afternoons.

Hello, I am currently looking to relocate to sunnybank hills from sydney for my son to attend sunnybank hills state primary school. Are there any areas or streets we should avoid when looking for a house?
