Reviews of Taigum, QLD
"Taigum – Brisbane’s Best-Kept Secret for Lifestyle, Value, and Convenience"
Taigum is one of Brisbane’s hidden gems — a peaceful, family-friendly suburb with excellent access to both city conveniences and coastal escapes. Perfectly located just 16km north of the Brisbane CBD, it offers a relaxed suburban lifestyle without sacrificing connectivity. Public transport is a big plus, with regular bus services and nearby train stations like Zillmere and Carseldine making commuting easy.
Taigum Central Shopping Centre covers your daily needs with supermarkets, cafes, and specialty stores, while Chermside and North Lakes are just a short drive away for major retail therapy. The area is dotted with parks, walking paths, and green spaces, making it ideal for families, pet owners, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
The community here is friendly and diverse, with a good mix of established residents and new arrivals. Schools, childcare facilities, and medical services are all within reach. Despite its growing popularity, Taigum remains more affordable compared to many Brisbane suburbs, offering excellent value for homeowners and investors alike.
Overall, Taigum combines convenience, community, and lifestyle in one package — a suburb that’s only getting better with time and definitely worth keeping an eye on for future growth.

"Quiet suburb close to the city and shorncliffe/sandgate"
We have moved to Taigum in the last 6 months. 25 mins to the city, less than 10 mins to Sandgate/shorncliffe pier. Quiet suburb, close to all amenities. We love it! And have met some very lovely neighbours too
