"Taroom - Nice place to visit"
Taroom is located on the banks of the Dawson River 485 kms west of Brisbane and is renowned for its beef and grain as well as the forestry industry. This small town has a lot to offer with all amenities such as accommodation options is the caravan parks, motel or cabins, well stocked shops for all your needs and choice of primary schools as well as a good secondary schools. Home prices are very affordable and easily within reach of most especially the first home buyer. Visit the Working Pioneer Village as well as the Leichhardt Tree. There are many walking tracks for those who enjoy a stroll and like to see plants and the occasional animal as well as bird watching.
