"Great place to bring up your kids"
Tawonga South is a wonderful place to bring up small children. It is very safe. It has a government primary and high school amongst the best in Victoria. It is quiet and slightly cooler in the summer months. The cost of living is affordable here. If you want a great start for a young family, I highly recommend Tawonga South.
Some down sides to consider is you need to travel 1 hour by car to Albury Wodonga for good shopping and most opportunities for employment. Worth it for what you gain in lifestyle.
