"A sporting paradise"
If you love sport, Terang is well worth a visit. The town has great facilities for golf, bowling and croquet and hosts a number of horse racing events throughout the year including a meet on New Year's Day. A row of English oaks which were planted in the 1890s welcomes visitors to the town and there is a walking map available for people who would like to see the town on foot. If you love cars, a visit to Model Barn which has miniature cars, tractors, trucks and trains on display is a must for your to-do list. There's plenty to do in Terang.
