We have lived here for over 5 years now and we love the peaceful leafiness of the area. People take a lot of pride in their homes making the streetscapes attractive. People are friendly and there is a nice diversity of cultures here which we love. The opening of metro is a massive game changer for this suburb, since we can now get from Cherrybrook station to the city in 30 mins. Our kids all go to different schools and catch PT every day. We love it here

Cute area. A lot of professionals with families. Large blocks of land. WPH is a very aspirational area.

Love it here. Been living here for a while now and it's gorgeous. The addition of Cherrybrook metro station just down the road has greatly improved transport to the area. If you drive, you're able to access Thornleigh train station which has free parking and direct access to the city. Nice people, lots of dogs and families, mostly good street parking and lots of local green areas and parks, even though they're small.

This suburb reminds me of the Upper North Shore in the Hills area. Leafy, quiet, wide streets. It is a large suburb (just like Wahroonga and Turramurra where I used to live) and there are distinct parts. Whilst there is no train station, connectivity to the city via bus is easy (35-50 mins door to door depending on where you catch it). I personally prefer the areas near the Coonara Village, they feel quieter and more manicured.

You want to live here if you like the feel of the Upper North Shore at a lower price (10-15% lower than Wahroonga). There's no nightlife, few restaurants but lots of parks, walking and beautiful nature. Great for young and older families. And, most people are out for walks and very friendly.

This suburb is virtually a gargantuan beast, seeming to definitively separate the disparate universes of Castle Hill and the western North Shore. However, in spite of having so much space, the transport options are fairly limited, making it difficult to access quality shopping centres, eatery options and education facilities as few amenities are provided in the actual suburb itself. It is indeed intended for tranquil and calm leafy environs, but it would be all the more convenient if an abundance of amenities were implemented in the suburb's east.

there is a large and barely used bus bay in west pennant hills near coles and a park, and would be ideal for a train staion in coming years. People of this suburb have to deal with painfully slow bus and car commutes to and from the city daily due to the traffic and having a direct and consistent mode of transport to get there was be a lifesaver and a life-changer for alot of residents. Even school kids, elderly and all sorts could benefit from suburb to suburb transport. Please consider in coming years!!!!! wph would be a 5 stars with a train station.

The express bus on Oakes Rd provides convenient transport to the city, 25min-35min (last stop before Wynyard)
Friendly neighbours who are mostly professionals with young families or retirees

Easy 15min drive to Macquarie Centre, university

West Pennant Hills is known for it's wide streets and large homes. You'll find some of Sydney's best properties here while the suburb is very safe and family orientated. It's now surprise that so many executives live in West Pennant Hills while the suburb increases in popularity.

The area offers good transport, great schools and some of Sydney's best shopping. It is certainly one of the best places to bring up a family while Sydney's CBD is just 30-40 minutes away.

The suburb has evolved over the years, offering a really broad range of homes, streets and people. The area has a number of appealing aspects, some great ovals and parks and a hidden gem in the Cumberland State Forest, providing bush walking, cafe, bird watching all an amazing escape from the hustle of city life. The ability to access major road networks to get into and out of the city is excellent, though owning a car is almost essential. Transport outside of commuter hours can be limited - noting at this point, the North West train line is underway and going to make a huge change to the area.
