Reviews of Westerway, TAS
"looking for a country change and we think we've found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
First appearances of Westerway is a quiet little rural village set at the base of Mount Field National Park.Lots of tourists seem to travel this route as it is the only way to get to Mount Field ,unless you live at Strathgordon that is lol.(Sorry a locals joke as Strathgordon you travel from the opposite direction :) )Our family have been looking for a country change for quite some time and to discover such an untouched tranquil, country lifestyle is a dream come true.Westerway is made up of only two main streets, has a primary school, post office ans convenience store. For all you yuppies out there, there are a couple of cafe's and a gallery to entice the cultural tastebuds.
To summarise Westerway is to say that all you "city goers" should stay the hell away from Westerway so it remains the untouched village that it is now.Oh except for the tourists that is,your allowed to visit only.
