"Wiley Park - A little gem!"
I agree wholeheartedly with looksee's comment below! Wiley Park is a fantastic family orientated suburb which is on the door step of everything. The direct CBD train is less than a 5 minute walk and of course we all know that Wiley Park is on the list of stations to be upgraded as part of the $12bn Sydney Metro project with works commencing 2017. Smart people are here and you just wait as not only does the popularity of the area increase but the inherit value.
The inner west neighbours of Wiley Park only have light rail with a few having trains and these people pay a premium to cram into trams if their lucky to make it on at all.
The amenities in and around the suburb are fantastic, Roselands shopping centre is merely a 10 minutes walk, 5 minutes to the M5 to go to the airport, city or beach. The park is amazing and great for walks, bbqs and a fitness area all benefiting the local residents.
There is a lovely mix of nationalities with young professionals, first home buyers, experienced renovators, new money and gentrification flooding into Wiley Park.
I have seen this suburb mature and it will exceed everyone's expectations, I look forward to being a part of its success and will look back wondering why didn't I buy another place here!

"Wiley Park, more than just good houses!"
Wiley Park...People need to basically get over themselves and if they're serious about home ownership, start looking in suburbs such as Wiley Park. Affordable, and so close to everything. Train is just a 5 minute walk down the road and bus stops on each major road, no need for a car, Roselands shopping centre is just 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. Everything you need is at Roselands shopping centre. 5 minute drive down the road and you're on the M5, on the way to the city or the airport...20 minute drive and you're picking your guests up at international! And the park...takes up one full block of land, room for everyone to do whatever they want to do, play, bbq, lie in the grass, walk...perfect...and plenty of parking.
A vast variety of residents, of all nationalities. People, I think are put off areas like Wiley Park because of the reputation of 'being in the enclave', but with prices like these, who cares?!! A good mix of people make it a good place to live.

"Wiley Park"
I have lived in Wiley Park for the last year and feel right at home. I am a white caucasian Australian born in Brisbane and am amazed at how friendly the neighbours and passengers at the train station are. The neighbourhood is very mixed with all types of nationalities and we look our for one another partaking in kind gestures. Roselands shopping is at our doorstep and provides fantastic amenities and retail stores. I can't say enough positive things about the suburb. Nice parks, safe, quiet, great public transport, close to the M5 and heaps of cafes and eateries with many flavours.

"Close to Everything"
Wiley Park is a great multi-cultural suburb which is close to the city by train. It is also close to great shopping which is a walk away at Roselands. While there aren't great restaurants in the area yet there are still lots of cafes and a good range of food outlets at Roselands. The local pub is interesting.

Agreed People who looked over this Suburb are negative and underestimate the potential and value of this Suburb. I also think Punchbowl is very good as well.
