Reviews of Woodbine, NSW
"Quiet, tree lined neighbourhood."
I have lived in Woodbine for a year now. Close to large shopping centers, great skate park with new pump track for the kids 5 minutes away. Lots of reserves. Tree lined streets. Multicultural. Friendly neighbours. I leave the house unlocked regularly and haven't heard of any issues with crime or seen any police around. I feel like it's more of an older generation that live here, have not come across many families with young children. Other than small neighborly chats every now and again everyone seems to stick to themselves. Very quiet area. Rentals are competitive and dont stay long on the market.
My family and I will be moving to an area with more young children.
"A convenient slice of campbelltown"
Woodbine is a small suburb wedged between the Hume Highway and Campbelltown Road. Highway barriers do a great job keeping noise out of the suburb and everything else is an inaudible hum. The town is filled with families who are friendly and from diverse walks of life.
North Steyne Road often gets used by motorists as a bypass to cut through to Gregory Hills Drive. This means anyone living south of Harboard Road will experience greater internal traffic than those north.
The woodbine shop is pretty much stocked with all those items you forget or run out of last minute and the service is very friendly. Housing is affordable and you're never far from shops, public transport or takeaway food.

"Best thing we ever did"
My husband and I bought our property just over a year ago and both agree it was the best thing we ever did, previous to moving here we were living on the north shore which was lovely however not realistic to what we could afford. We are a young couple who were looking for an area where we could plant our roots and start a family and most of all feel safe. The neighbours are fantastic and the people look out for each other, there is a nice feel to the area and people are polite. Everything is close by and easy to get to.
Our biggest concerns before we bought here was the commute to the city, schools, safety etc and i have to say that the commute is fine, you get used to it and i love reading my book on the way in. Schools are also close by and i have heard great things about them, you have the option of both private & public. In regards to safety, not once have we felt unsafe in our area teh fact that everyone looks out for each other is very reassuring. We have family and friends that live closer to the city looking to purchase here as it is very reasonably ;priced and have seen what you can get for your money, plus just an allround lovely area

"What a Great place for a family"
Woodbine is fantastic suburb. A very nice suburb to live for any family as it is very quiet during the day and at night. Hard to believe such a nice suburb exists next to Campbelltown. Great houses, great view, big play grounds, great to go for walk. No traffic still very affordable!

"Nice suburb in an unfortunate area"
Woodbine is a nice suburb but is unfortunately situated next to Claymore with it's low SES population and associated crime. Houses in Woodbine are brick and tile and of a good quality. The neighbours are generally friendly and nice people. The suburb is quiet and peaceful during the day but at night is victim to street hoons speeding down North Steyne Road at up to 90kms per hour, with their extremely loud sub woofers. Although Campbelltown overall is a bad area, Woodbine is one of its nicest suburbs.

"Wood bine a suburb with full of praise"
It's best suburb in southwest Sydney. Woodbine got no shops, no school, no rails, yet it's got every convenience within a stone throw away distance. Very calm & quiet, beautiful suburb for anyone to live. Can’t praise enough. Good sporting facilities surrounded with parks. Most houses looks great with nice landscapes. Almost every house got a fantastic view from windows or balconies.

"A suburb to die for"
I moved here with my family 2 years ago from a neighbouring suburb, this is the best spot in Campbelltown area, close to Leumeah rail station, Wests, has lots of places to eatout or take away, if you are still hungry only 10 minutes to Campbelltown CBD, great shopping with large shopping centres close by, fast access to M5, Woodbine is an area with lots of trees and many native birds, just love the beautiful colured parrots that visit us and yes it has some older style homes but they have impressive locations with great views over the city and area, and really nice landscaping. A suburb to die for.

In the middle of the best part of Campbelltown, close to freeway, shops and fast food outlets.
Great parks, and places to go for walks, and a great local shop. Nice neighbours, pretty quiet suburb.
