"A great town to live in"
Yak has two pubs one grocery store one butcher one cafe that is open all the time, a nice quiet country town that has been kept a secret from the rest of Victoria, it has a long history and a great community spirit. The best thing about Yak is that people actually smile and say hi to each other.

"Yack "the place to be""
i lov ethis village. I dont live there but when ever I pass through, the town has agreat feel. Seasonal and friendly, touristy but still a sense of local.
Warm, colouful, historic and friendly. I may come a stay permanently. we will see. beats sydney and Melbourne.............soooooooooooooo relaxed
