Both are good. I read your comment to Judy about you wife's concerns about flooding. Welcome to Qld ! You haven't lived in Qld, until you make that call to the boss " Can't come to work, I'm flooded in ". Can happen anywhere and Tamborine and Scenic Rim are not immune. It's part of life in the Sunshine State

I have lived on Tamborine Mountain for 20 years. North Tamborine is close to everything and tends to be mostly flat. Eagle Heights is the oldest part of the Mountain and is also quite close to everything. The land is mostly like a rabbit warren with twists, turns, inclines & descents, however it is the most beautiful part of the mountain with some homes having a beautiful view of the Gold Coast. Mount Tamborine is not so close to everything being approx 6 km's from the main shopping area. It has gentle up's & down's in the landscape and majority of the homes have a perfect view towards the Gold Coast. Which ever part of Tamborine Mountain you choose to live, is sure to be the best place on Earth!

Hello Judy, my partner is concerned that she has heard that Tamborine Mountain roads flood frequently and we won't be able to get to work. Is this really a regular occurance?

I wouldnt say it is a regular occurrence. The roads are progressively getting better. There are many roads off the mountain and its seldom they are all impacted. It may take a little longer sometimes, if a road is closed. Maybe once every few years they are all closed for a variety of reasons, however it is certainly not very often and never for very long because the water flows away quickly.
