Reviews of Tarnagulla, VIC

"Tarnagulla - a peaceful haven."

Tarnagulla is a gorgeous little township nestled between vast bush tracts. It is tranquill and safe. Cycling and bush walking is a lovely activity to do here. There is a 9 hole golf course open for 6 months of the year and a tennis court situated at the old reservoir area. Many folk are keen gold fossickers and prospectors. The largest nugget ever found (in the world) was found about 10 kms from Tarnagulla.
The primary school is well maintained and has children attend from all around the district. Tarnagulla is a lovely "tree change" option for one and all.
The local pub even makes a good cappuccino and the publican is a real character to talk to.
This is a little town where children can roam and explore in safety.
It is an easy 10 minutes to Dunolly, where there are good shops and cafes and half an hour to Maryborough in one direction and to Bendigo in the other direction. It is an easy drive to commute to jobs in Maryborough or Bendigo.
Tarnagulla is peaceful.
