Info on Tecoma would be welcome for new homeowners

We've just purchased a house in Tecoma. Seeing as we've never lived in the hills before, I would just like some opinions from people who live up that way. I believe we are going to love it up there, though! Comments on crime/lifestyle/etc would be welcome. I've tried googling any crime in Tecoma, and apart from some graffiti issues, it seems to be peaceful.
