Is Tecoma a fire prone area?

Everywhere in the Dandenong Ranges is said to be fire prone however your risk in parts of Tecoma may be a little lower if you are in the more suburban section rather than right next to the national park. That said, everyone needs to be prepared for fire as Tecoma is very close to both forest and grassland.
