For kids, there are a few smaller play parks in Tecoma, but you are also walking or a short drive to Burrinja cultural centre which has a lovely children’s park, Upwey Main Street skate park and play park and Upwey Reserve (the oval) for a run around. You can also drive a few minutes to Wally Tew park in Upper Ferntree Gully which is fabulous of you have children.
For adults and kids, you’re literally right next to or in the national park and a short drive (5 mins) to Birdsland Reserve. You can also easily reach Sherbrooke just minutes away or any of the other parks in the Dandenong Ranges like the Alfred Nicholas garden, the arboretum, Tinsdale gardens...the list goes on. You will literally never run out of parks and gardens within a short drive of Tecoma.
