Is the Templestowe Hotel any good?

Hi guys,

I've been hearing a lot of people mention the Templestowe Hotel and how good it is. I think they have a buffet or something that is fantastic on weekends?

Is the Templestowe Hotel any good? If someone has been to the Templestowe Hotel, can someone give me their thoughts. I'm thinking about taking my parents there for a lunch in the coming weeks.

The Templestowe Hotel is great - I have relatives from the Northern suburbs that drive an hour to go, really good buffet dinner. Only problem I had (which is not a huge problem) is that the kids play area is downstairs while parents eat upstairs, so you cant really keep an eye on them while you are eating.

And they also have a kids eat free offer, all Dinner Sessions on Wednesday Nights & 5.30pm Dinner Session on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.

You probably should book too if you have a large group.

I finally went to the Templestowe Hotel for a buffet over the weekend and it was great! There are a lot of kids running around so it's a good venue for families and family related functions. The food was tasty and value for money was fantastic. Highlights on the buffet were the prawn dumplings, sliced creamy potato bake, meat carvery and for dessert they had an amazing pavlova. Really happy I went and would recommend highly to all!
