Parks in Templestowe for kids
Templestowe, VIC 3106 is located within the Manningham local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Templestowe (and Doncaster) has some of the best parks for kids to play in. The obvious ones are Ruffey Lake Park, but there are some more that I have discovered.
Add some more to the list if I have missed them!
1. Ruffey Lake Park Victoria Street, Doncaster, 3108. Multiple playgrounds at George St and Victoria St. Great BBQ facilities. One of Melbournes best. www.manningham.vic.gov.au/live/home_parks_and_reserves/doncaster_parks_and_reserves/home_ruffey_lake_park.html
2. Westerfolds Park at Fitzsimmons Lane, Templestowe. Lots of BBQ areas and a great playground. http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/1park_display.cfm?park=210
3. Wombat Bend Playground at Duncan St, Templestowe. Latest playground with lotss of activities for kids. www.manningham.vic.gov.au/play/playgrounds/templestowe_lower_playgrounds/wombat_bend.html?s=1001
4. Eltham Miniature Railway located at 570 Main Rd, Eltham, VIC 3095. Kids can ride the miniature trains and then kick a football around in the Eltham Lower Park afterwards. http://www.dvr.com.au/
5. June Reserve small playground, located in June Crescent, Templestowe.
6. Matisse Drive Reserve Playground slides and a basketball ring, located at Matisse Dr, Templestowe.

Thanks JVS! Very helpful list....although I wish they would hurry up and clean up Ruffey Lake. It's looks very unappealing with the lake being empty.
