I keep being told that the Vines gets extremely hot in summer and has a lot of flies, is this true?
The Vines, WA 6069 is located within the Swan local government area, part of the Perth (Greater) Region in Western Australia.

I used to live in Henley Brook which is just to the south of The Vines. Being in that area and not very close to the beach, it does get fairly warm (expect mid to high 30's during summer). However, being on raised land, the sea breezes are amazing. As for flies, there is a lot of rural area to the north and east. With that in mind, it's not Australia without flies. Learn and respect the aussie salute!
