Family friendly on a few acres close to town & school bus?
Toowoomba City, QLD 4350 is located within the Toowoomba local government area, part of the Darling Downs Region in Queensland.
We are moving to towoomba and want to purchase a home on at least 3acres. The kids have a horse and we have other animals. Can anyone suggest an area to look that's not too far from town,school bus etc?

Vale View is close to town, and has a very small primary school, but is also close to Drayton Primary. Hodgson Vale is great if you have horses, and is close to Middle Ridge State School. And there are school buses in these areas.
Suburbs south of Toowoomba do tend to be more expensive, but are generally much nicer, friendly suburbs.

Hello Tieshie, the options are limitless, but is framed by what school you would like your kids to go to and what your definition of 'not too far from town'. To get into the reasonably priced acreages, you are looking at places like Gowrie, outer side of Glenvale, Wyreema and Hampton. Obviously a higher budget gets you closer. Good luck!
