Pros:
- the area is still growing, which means there is always opportunity for growth with work, career & benefits as a small cafe owner for example

- the region has a heavy horticulture presence. Lots of beautiful food can be sourced directly from the area

- some of the best schools / education are based in Toowoomba.

- there is a lifestyle atmosphere to the vibe of Toowoomba. Although there is a busy CBD, the vibe overall is still calm and approachable.

- rent / property prices are more value for dollar.

- own airport

- easy access to Brisbane and Sunshine Coast

CONS

- if you dont like the cold, it can be an uncomfortable few months of the year

- if you prefer a busy night life precinct, the cbd venues may not suffice.

- if you prefer to be able to walk within ten minutes to locations it may not be suitable

- you will generally always needs a car when living in Toowoomba as not every where is serviced by public transport or walking distance.
