"Best kept secret in the area"
Overall,Towsend Street has very house-proud, friendly (without being too friendly) neighbours.
There is a mix of mainly young familes, retirees and empty nesters.
Most neighbours genuinely care about each other are are always available to assist, say if you will be away for a few days.
There is an annual street Christmas Party and most neighbours turn up to share food, drinks and conversation.
It has been a perfect environment for our family.
It has just been like growing up in the country, but less than 10 KMs from the CBD.

Dead end street...houseproud owner / occupiers...very few rental properties....lots of young families who love the quiet, 'little traffic' aspect of the street. Ask any real estate agent in the area....it is THE best kept secret in the Ivanhoe / Eaglemont area!
