Reviews of Tumbi Umbi, NSW

"For those that have given up"

Remote community for retirees and bogans. Spread out with little community or centre.
But hey, it's not that far to the beach.

"Great suburb, close to everything but still peaceful, and very friendly"

Have lived here nearly six years now and never want to leave. It's accessible to motorway, buses, train, shipping centres etc, but my road is very quiet and the neighbours are amazing.

"Central location on the Central Coast NSW"

Safe suburb. Very central to the two major shopping centres and to the smaller local shopping centres. Short driving distance to three beautiful beaches and to the social hub of Terrigal. Central to many primary schools and high schools with a short driving distance to the Central Coast Grammar and Gosford High school. Short distancecto Tuggerah lake where there are walking and bike paths. Family friendly suburb and central to everything. Highly recommended.

"Prime family living close to beaches and lakefront"

Centrally located Tumbi Umbi on the Central Coast of NSW offers a relaxed family oriented lifestyle. Encompassing semi-rural areas, fairly modern housing estates and some older holiday style homes this extremely popular area is only 10 minute drive to beaches and 5 minutes to Tuggerah lakes. Lovely parklands and childrens play areas. Some busy traffic areas on Wyong Road and Tumbi Road but otherwise streets are pretty quiet. Elevated areas boast pleasant district outlook. Central to the area is the Mingara Recreational Club with casual and formal dining, Mingara Fitness First and Aquatic Centre, Put-put golf, sporting fields, Take-away food outlets, Glengara Retirement Village plus a small shopping centre at Tumbi Umbi roundabout including hardware, computer shop, lawn mowing, Ray White Real Estate, hairdresser, finance and church. Larger shopping centres available at Killarney Vale, Bateau Bay and Chittaway Bay. Good schools nearby including St John Fisher Catholic School, Killarney Vale Primary School, Berkeley Vale Primary School, Berkeley Vale High School and Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College. Medical available at Berkeley Vale Medical Centre and Private Hospital. Very popular for the fitness guru or for just a gentle stroll are the walking and bike tracks along the lakefront with breathtaking views across Tuggerah Lake. Transport available mostly along the main roads. 10 minutes to F3, Trains and Westfields Tuggerah. This really is a great area to live and really suits the family or retiree.
