Does it cost more to insure a home in Upwey, due to fire threat?
Upwey, VIC 3158 is located within the Yarra Ranges local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Just considering a few ideas, as we're looking into buying in the area.

Not really. I have a house there and there doesn't appear to be any premium associated with bush fires. There is a wildfire management overlay across most of Upwey but I don't think it affects premiums which are based on numbers of previous claims.
