"Reinvigorated Chippendale"

Noticed that many of the reviews here are a number of years old. Its mid-2016 and the Frasers Broadway/Central Park redevelopment has reinvigorated Chippendale. The development brings many new food options (eg Din Tai Fung, Spice Alley, Silvereye) that add to the established options (eg Brickfields, Ester, LP Quality Meats and many more). The park itself brings needed green space to north east Chippendale, and opens up public access through the old Brewery site, connecting Chippendale with Broadway and UTS. My personal favourite addition is the Woolworths supermarket. As someone without a car, its no longer necessary to hike to Broadway or World Square for groceries. I love Chippendale. So close to Central and so much to offer. In short, take all the positives stated in the older reviews on this site and turn them up a notch or two.
