"The heart of the north"
Elizabeth with it's low price of living and the vast range of amenities and services available make it both a good choice for living and for investing. Elizabeth Shopping Centre is one of the largest shopping centres in Adelaide and there are also numerous other amenities in the area. Home to the mighty Central Districts Football Club the area has a very strong following for football and this is obvious when you drive past the many schools in the area and you see all the footballs flying around.

Night life is limited but there is the cinema and Louisiana Tavern for live music. Centrals footy club has meals, bingo, pokies and a sports bar with the occasional show. I would recommend the Elizabeth Tavern as its mainly a pokies venue and can get pretty roughy in the front bar.

It has a lot of good points but it's a long way from everywhere Golden Grove and as nice as the houses are You pay just as much for something there as you do in one of the Eastern Suburbs dollar for dollar.I almost suggested that area for our family home to move to when it came time to move on from the old Salisbury House we had from 1972 to 2005 but we found a Payneham Home instead for less than say Spring Hill Golden Grove.

It's unusual I mention this but the price one pays for a house in Elizabeth today used to get something in the inner city.I remember as a kid My Mother taking me to see a Home in North Adelaide and they wanted $155,000 for it.Today It would be worth close to a Million Dollars. There are most likely other examples I could use.
