For the cost of paying for parking in the Gong...... I can get a train to Sydney and spend the day there instead!!

I went here to visit and found it perfectly uneventful! and nostalgic of how Australia used to be. It's a place to visit but not my first choice in place to live.... unless work is there in which case, i'd rent.

The land sizes are small! And houses are built so close to the boundary. The streets are narrow.

As an ex resident I hated cleaning my gutters all year. A lot of leaves in my garden! And a fire hazard too! It’s not like I could clear the trees around my home or anything; they’re protected natives. Eucalyptus are flammable!! So have a fire plan.
